I painted this portrait as a gift for my boyfriend’s grandmother on her 89th birthday this past week. It is her late husband, who was her world. I never met him, but I wish I could have.

In January I participated in Lita Albuquerque’s performative sculpture, “Spine of the Earth”, at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City. I was 10th in line! And I got in a car accident on my way home.
